Thursday 1 February 2024 Safer Internet Day 2024 Next week will see a special themed week of activities/assemblies occurring in our classrooms around the importance of internet safety. Safer Internet Day 2024 will take place on the 6th of February 2024, with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online’.

Wednesday 8 November 2023 Anti Bullying Week 2023 Anti-Bullying Week 2023 takes place from Monday 13th – Friday 17th November with the theme ‘Make A Noise About Bullying’. It is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, which is based at leading children’s charity the National Children’s Bureau. This year we have worked with children and young people up and down England, Wales and Northern Ireland to decide the theme.

Starting as an initiative of the EU Safe Borders project in 2004 and taken up by the Insafe network as one of its earliest actions in 2005, Safer Internet Day has grown beyond its traditional geographic zone and is now celebrated in approximately 170 countries worldwide.

Wednesday 14 December 2022 The GCHQ Christmas Challenge 2022 Today the GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters), who are responsible for keeping the UK safe, released the 2022 #GCHQChristmasChallenge. The puzzle, masterminded by a team of GCHQ in-house puzzlers, features on the GCHQ Director's annual Christmas card. The card is sent to partners in the UK and around the world who work with us to counter threats, including hostile state activity, terror groups and organised crime gangs.
